In this example a matching network was synthesized to match 50 ohms to 10 + j 1.5 ohms over a 50% bandwidth around 1000 MHz. A live schematic was automatically drawn by the LINC2 network synthesis tool, that was subsequently analyzed (simulated). The results were displayed in the form of graphs, Smith Charts and tabulated numerical printouts. The results verified that the circuit generated by the LINC2 program met the original design goals.
